Cruising around in your Audi A5 you’re going to wan’t to ensure that you keep it looking new and in mint condition especially when it comes to reversing. You also want to be a BOSS when it comes to parking. Well this Audi Reversing Camera is the retrofit for you. It’s great for spoting those low level objects, hooking up to a trailer or squeezing into that tight space.

Using all Genuine Audi parts from the wiring looms to the camera to the module, this system will fit in perfectly into your A5 and will look and work as if it were fitted from factory. The most important part of this kit is that it has is the Highline system that allows the “Moving Gudelines” so as your steering wheel is moving the lines on the screen will represent your direction of travel.

This system will intergrate with your factory Optical Parking System (If you already have it installed) and will provide a pretty nifty overlay on top of the Reverse Feed.

Two parking modes are available:

• Parking mode 1 (Transverse parking): Useful to park into a slot which is transverse to the driving direction on for reverse driving into a longer entry
• Parking mode 2 (Longitudinal parking): Useful for parking into a slot along the driving direction on a curb.

Please Note: This retrofit is not suitable for the Audi A5 Cabriolet due to a different camera mounting in the rear.

Please Note: On some of the newer A5 models, Audi have been cost cutting! They have removed a module called Park / Steer (This is to do with how your parking system works). They have integrated its function into another module which means that when Genuine Reversing Cameras are added they work slightly different. Depending on the vehicle you may not get the camera on Auto Switch (Priority goes to the optical parking screen). You have to tap a little button on the MMI.  This is how Audi now want it to work apparently!
