Volkswagen Composition Colour Reversing Camera Retrofit

If your vehicle such as the VW Transporter T6 or Caddy came with the 5” Composition Colour System it wouldn’t have been possible to retrofit an OEM Style Reversing Camera that fully integrates with the system. The Composition Colour simply does not have the ability to interface with it.

This aftermarket system will allow your vehicle to have a VW Style camera that fully displays on the Composition Colour Radio whilst keeping in styling with your vehicle with no extra screens needed. This system is designed to look and feel, from the hardware through to the image, of that of what a Genuine VW Highline Reversing Camera would look like.

This system primarily allows for a Rear Camera to be installed but also has the option to install a Front Parking Camera to give you that front end protection as well.

One of the great features of this system that once installed you will get moving guidelines on the screen that change as you turn the steering wheel to show where the vehicle will end up. Just like the factory VW System!

Due to the nature of this system, the composition colour radio needs to be opened for a new interface board to be installed into the vehicle. For this reason and for the first few months of sale, this is a Supply & Install option only here at our workshop in Poole.

Please Note:

• Your Composition Colour system will need to be opened for this interface to be installed. You will need to provide us with confirmation that you are happy for this to happen
• Your system must have the SD Card at the bottom left hand corner and 3.5mm jack in the middle
• PDC Overlay is possible on some vehicles and not others. This will only be known at time of installation. If PDC is not available this guide will be de-activated
• This is not a DIY Installation and must be installed by a Professional Auto-Electrician
• If you have any type of campervan conversion then you must let us know prior
• The moving guidelines are intended to act as an aid or guide in reversing to show you the intended trajectory of where the vehicle will end up
• Currently this is a Supply & Fit option only in our workshop in Poole, Dorset due to the nature of the installation. In the future we will offer this kit as a Supply Only and a Stereo Install (Where you send us your Composition Colour).
