Description
VW Transporter T5.1 / T6 Folding Mirrors Upgrade
Supply & Installation of Genuine VW Transporter T5.1 & T6 Folding Mirrors. This retrofit uses all Genuine VW parts with no aftermarket boxes or relays (commonly found online) to make the mirrors fold in and out.
We will supply and install the genuine folding mirror bases, the new window motor mechanisms, the new door switch and the relevant wiring to allow your mirrors to open and close.
If you have a T6 Transporter manufactured after 2018, there is a possibility that your mirrors will ‘Fold-On-Lock’ BUT we have no control over this and will not know if this feature will work beforehand as it is solely managed by the BCM.
On previous installations that we have completed, we were able to source compatible door modules that allowed for this ‘Fold-On-Lock’ feature to work but we cannot purchase these specific parts any longer.
As part of the installation process, we will re-use your existing painted mirror caps and mirror glass.

- This is a Supply & Fit Option only.
- The two videos referenced above were recorded a long time ago when we could source the door modules that allowed us to activate the ‘fold-on-lock’ feature. This is no longer something that we can offer.
